The president of the African nation was received at the Vnukovo International Airport by the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Central African ambassador in Moscow, Leon Dodonu-Punagaza.
As part of the working agenda, Touadéra will be received on January 16 by his counterpart from Russia, Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press service confirmed in a press release.
The parties plan to examine “the state and possibilities of further development of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic-commercial and humanitarian spheres,” the statement said.
The document also states that Putin and Touadéra will also address current issues on the international and regional agenda. Prior to the arrival of the head of state of the Central African Republic in Moscow, officials of the Russian embassy in Bangui assured that the relations between the two nations are a model of interaction based on trust and the benefit of the peoples.
