During a press conference on the results of Russian diplomacy in 2024, Lavrov indicated that the United States has given the green light to terrorist attacks against energy infrastructure, and there are plans to deactivate the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
“The United States does not want to have any competitors in any field, starting with energy, and, without thinking twice, they have given the green light to terrorist activities to destroy the foundations of the European Union’s energy well-being,” Lavrov said.
According to the foreign minister, the United States is inciting its Ukrainian clients to follow the events of the Nord Stream and want to deactivate the Turkish Stream.
