“We ratify our commitment to these ties and consider that they will be affected by circumstances and conjunctures since they are based on solid foundations of friendship, solidarity, and affection,” the note stated.

It added that these ties have remained strong despite the war that has ravaged Syria since 2011.

“We hope that the new stage that Syria has been living in, since December 8, 2024, will lead to boost these relations, and we will work from our positions to improve them in all fields for the good of our two peoples, the professionals indicated.

They also greeted the people and government from Cuba on the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution reiterating their rejection of the unfair blockade imposed by the United States government, joining the worldwide call to lift it.

Let us not forget in these circumstances to reaffirm our solidarity with our Palestinian brothers who continue to suffer from the Israeli genocide in Gaza, and we reject the Zionist aggressions against the Syrian territory, concluded the text of the declaration.
