The Cuban delegation was received at the Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia, in La Guaira state, by Sectoral Vice President for Science, Technology, Education, and Health Gabriela Jimenez and Cuban Ambassador in Caracas, Dagoberto Rodriguez.
Maduro will take the oath of office for a third consecutive term after winning the July 28 presidential elections with 51.95 percent of the vote, the National Electoral Council (CNE) stated.
More than 2,000 representatives of governments, social movements from over 100 countries of all continents, and international organizations traveled to Caracas to attend Maduro’s swearing-in ceremony this Friday at the Federal Legislative Palace in this capital.
