Sources from the Houthi rebels grouped in the Ansar Allah movement informed that the attacks hit the Jarban area in Sana’a governorate, Harf Sufyan district in Amran governorate, and Al-Luhayyah district in Hodeidah governorate, without the United States and Britain commenting on the matter.
The Houthis have controlled, since 2014, large areas in central, northern, and southern Yemen, including the capital, after taking up arms against the Government, triggering a civil war that continues nowadays.
The attacks on shipping bound for Israel through the Red Sea were launched in November 2023, in response to the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip.
