Buena Fe and Omar Acedo’s forthcoming concerts in Havana

Havana, Jan 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuban band Buena Fe and Venezuelan musician, singer and composer Omar Acedo will offer concerts at the Karl Marx Theater in Havana on January 18 and 19.

The presentations will close the ‘Amigos Tour’, which took them to several theaters and squares in Venezuela, a musical embrace that honors the music of two cultures from their respective visions, the organizers informed today.

They will play hits by Buena Fe such as ‘Cada País’, ‘Catalejo’ or ‘Siembra’; and by Omar Acedo, ‘Pueblo, levanta la Cara’.

The artists will also perform anthological songs of Cuban and Venezuelan music by singer-songwriters such as Silvio Rodríguez and Alí Primera.

Directed by composer and music producer Israel Rojas, Buena Fe is one of the most established and popular musical proposals in Cuba, with 12 albums in its long musical trajectory.

Omar Acedo is an acclaimed popular artist in the musical panorama of his country, author of songs such as ‘Pueblo, levanta la cara’ (People put your head up).

The musician and singer has fused Venezuelan folklore with contemporary music, achieving great success among the national public.

The concerts will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 8:30 pm local time and on Sunday at 5:00 pm.

Tickets are on sale through the Ticket app and at the theater’s box office, located on First Avenue, between 8th and 10th Streets, in Havana’s Miramar neighborhood.
