At the meeting of the Federal Cabinet in Islamabad, the head of government considered the sanctions imposed by the United States against the National Defense Complex and other entities of the South Asian nation, as unjustified.
Recently, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry denounced the double standards concerning each country’s weapons development and rejected the White House’s sanctions.
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs called as unfortunate and biased the US decision to impose coercive measures against the NDC, which is responsible for the ballistic missile program, and Affiliates International, Akhtar and Sons Private Limited, and Rockside Enterprise.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry called Washington’s move a challenge to the goal of peace and security, stating that such policies have dangerous implications for the region and beyond strategic stability.
