“Our broadest solidarity with the Cuban people, a people that has always claimed its right to self-determination and to develop in peace,” he said when commenting on the recent popular anti-blockade mobilization led last Friday by Cuban historical leader Raúl Castro and President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
He pointed out that the economic, commercial and financial blockade, an illegal US policy imposed for more than 60 years, aims to prevent the Cuban people from deciding their economic policy and the objective of the US empire is to impose the neoliberal model on them. Coronado added that the CGTP shares this fight against US blockade.
We are in a joint fight with the Cuban people, who defend their independence and demand the end of the imperialist blockade, in the face of the decision of the Cubans to continue being free from all subjugation, for which they demand the end of the blockade.
The leader also said that the Cuban cause deserves international solidarity, which that country has exercised with all the countries of Latin America and especially with Peru.
