In a release on the X platform, Xu expressed the Chinese authorities’ interest in cooperation based on respecting each other’s core interests, and major concerns, strengthening mutual trust through dialogue and communication, and properly resolving differences with sincerity and good faith.
The Indian Foreign Ministry announced these issues on the eve of the 23rd meeting of special representatives of both nations in Beijing with the participation of National Security Advisor Arjit Doval and his Chinese counterpart Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
In a brief statement, the Foreign Ministry noted that during the meeting, the officials will discuss the management of peace and tranquility in the border areas and explore a fair, reasonable, and mutually acceptable solution to the issue.
