From June 27, 2025, the company will provide non-stop flights linking the international airports of Sharjah (UAE) and Sochi, in Russian territory, the company said in a press release.
The route will start operating on a three-flight-a-week frequency, said the company, the first and largest operator of low-cost airlines in the Middle East and North Africa.
According to Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali, the new connection reflects the commitment to offer customers more travel options and contribute to the growth of tourism and trade between the two countries.
Sochi will become the sixth Russian city with direct flights from Sharjah, following Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Ufa and Yekaterinburg, indicated the airline, which boasts a fleet of 79 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
