At the meeting, scheduled for December 22, an information campaign on the subject will be launched, as well as a program whose actions will be aimed at gathering support from the nations of the region in favor of the Cuban people in their fight against the hegemonic imperialism of the United States.
In March 2024, the AACB published a declaration in solidarity with the Cuban people, demanding the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade and the end of the terrorist acts orchestrated from the White House on Cuba.
For more than six decades, the policy imposed by Washington has restricted the Cuban government’s access to international credits, hindered imports and exports, aggravated difficulties and limited the country’s opportunities for economic growth.
