According to the first medical bulletin published at 03:20 hours (local time) on Tuesday, Lula, 79, fell ill in Brasilia, where he underwent an MRI scan after complaining of a headache while still in the hospital.
The scan showed an intracranial hemorrhage, as a result of the domestic accident he suffered in October.
