On his X profile, the head of Cuban diplomacy stated that Israel not only commits genocide in the Gaza Strip, but that by taking advantage of the international impunity offered by the United States to commit crimes, it has violated the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon several times.

He pointed out that in its campaign of attacks, Israel has killed 4,047 Lebanese citizens, including of 1,106 women and children.

Israel continues to carry out aggressive actions in southern Lebanon, despite the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

Since the pact came into force on November 27, Israeli forces have attacked civilians, bombed southern villages and carried out air raids using drones and fighter jets.

With these actions, Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is seeking to hinder the return of Lebanese citizens to their homes before its withdrawal, which is limited to a period of 60 days.
