The two episodes, the most eagerly awaited moments for film buffs in its 45th edition, will be screened at the Yara movie theater in the Havana neighborhood of Vedado.

Director Rodrigo Garcia Barcha, son of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and one of the series producers, told Prensa Latina that it is not only good but also fair and necessary that these first two chapters are screened at the Havana Cinema Festival.

Gabo has been to the Havana Film Festival countless times and “has always tried to premiere everything that could be premiered as long as he had a say,” Garcia Barcha expressed via e-mail.
