Speaking to the press in the southern town of Sawana, the deputy highlighted the reporters work in the broadcasting facts of war and its consequences.
On the occasion, the legislator commented the recent operation by the Lebanese Resistance (Hizbulah) against the Israeli post of Ruwaisat Al-Alam, in the occupied hills of Kfar Shuba, describing it as warning response to enemy transgressions of the ceasefire agreement. The Israeli forces did not stop attacking civilian targets, said Fayyad, in Kafr Kila targeted sports facilities and in Jibaa demolished homes and razed roads; in other places, destroyed places of worship.
The representative of Loyalty to the Resistance said that it is impossible for such actions to be considered as an implementation of the ceasefire roadmap that came into force on November 27.
He stressed that these violations exceed the agreement and constitute an annulment of the aforementioned procedures, undermining the credibility of the entities in charge of supervising the implementation of the truce.
In Fayyad’s words, the people of Lebanon have the right to defend themselves and respond to these aggressions, to any attack or act of hostility.
