Called by the Central Workers of Argentina (CTA), the Autonomous-Argentinian Trade Union (CTA-A), the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP), Territories under Struggle, small and medium-sized enterprises, and other organizations, the leading activity will start at 13:00 hours (local time) near the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace).
Participants will later join the march of resistance led by the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and human rights organizations.
In addition to expressing our demand vigorously to build a homeland without hunger in the face of this government of plunder and capitulation, we want to express our will to defend national sovereignty, CTA-A General Secretary Hugo Godoy said at a press briefing.
Godoy also denounced violence, hate speech, and persecution of those who protest against the Executive’s measures.
