Being held at the Havana-based Conference Center until December 6, the event opened with a keynote speech by Spanish researcher Francisco Caballero on the Political Ecology of Communication, the geophysics of information, and the challenges of communication in the AI era.
Meanwhile, Argentine journalist, teacher, and communication researcher Washington Uranga will give a lecture on Social Communication in the current scenario of media and cultural hegemonies, from a Latin American and Caribbean viewpoint to think about research and the profession.
Organized by the FCOM, the international meeting will also feature an Expo-Fair to combine academic, exhibition, cultural, social, and networking sessions in the same space.
