During the event, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang held a meeting with representatives of participating companies, while Vice President Han Zheng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
According to official sources, more than 60% of exhibitors are leading companies in their sectors, including firms from the “Fortune 500” list, and the percentage of foreigners increased from 26 to 32% compared to the first edition.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning stressed the relevance of President Xi Jinping’s message, expressing that “maintaining the resilience and stability of global supply chains and industry is key to driving global economic development.”
She added that China is a committed participant, beneficiary, defender, and builder of these chains, contributing significantly to global economic growth.
