The document was signed at the Mansudae Congress Palace by the DPRK’s sports ministers, Kim Il Guk, and Russia’s Mikhail Degtyarev, after talks between the respective delegations.
The protocol includes seminars, training courses and participation in training events in rhythmic gymnastics, soccer, synchronized swimming, figure skating, taekwondo, wrestling, boxing, volleyball, basketball, canoeing, weightlifting, judo, table tennis and other sports.
Later, the delegation headed by Degtyarev witnessed a demonstration of taekwondo athletes and visited places of historical and cultural and sporting interest in Pyongyang.
