“We will be honored to receive you”, the leader Aslihan Ilgaz said, at the end of the 19th Meeting in Paris, on behalf of the José Martí Friendship Association with Cuba, and the Communist Party of Türkiye Addressing the plenary that adopted this Sunday the final declaration of the forum, Ilgaz stressed that in Türkiye, Cuba has many friends.

Cuba needs solidarity and we need Cuba for representing hope with its resistance, he stressed.

Likewise, Ilgaz asserted that the friendship association and the communists have the capacity and experience to organize the event, which in its Paris version today ratified the support to the Cuban Revolution and the condemnation of the US blockade.

The president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Fernando Gonzalez, and Rigoberto Zarza, who attends Europe at ICAP, expressed their confidence in the success of the meeting to be held in Türkiye in 2026.

They also expressed their gratitude for the willingness of Tükiye’s solidarity to host the meeting.
