The latest report from the country’s Higher Institute of Health (ISS), deaths in those seven days totaled 61, which represents a significant reduction compared to the 86 deaths registered from November 7 through 13.
However, the positivity rate increased, although slightly, reaching 4.2 percentage points, higher than the 4.0 percent seen in the previous week.
In Italy, 217,124 people are currently positive for the disease, of whom 215,671 are isolated at home and 1,391 were admitted to general hospitals, while 62 are in intensive care, the ISS report points out.
