Foreign Ministers from Chile, Alberto van Klaveren, and Peru, Elmer Schialer, as well as members of the visiting delegation and host Ministers of State attended the meeting.

A report from the Presidency of Peru noted that both countries celebrated 202 years of diplomatic relations and pointed out that the meeting addressed issues of cooperation, bilateral trade, economic growth and education.

Boric arrived in Lima last midnight to take part of the so-called APEC leaders (governors) meeting, of which his country is a member.
