As reported by the state news agency KCNA, Kim Jong Un, also general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) directed a field test of these weapons manufactured by an institute and companies attached to the Unmanned Aeronautics Complex.
During the test, the drones of various types accurately attacked and struck the targets after navigating the tactical routes of different ranges established, the outlet said.
Kim said he was satisfied with the accuracy of the unmanned aerial vehicles, which are aimed at strengthening national defense by mandates from the plenaries of the WPK Central Committee and the Party’s Central Military Commission.
The Supreme Commander of the People’s Army stressed the need to establish a mass production system as soon as possible and to mass manufacture the so-called kamikaze drones, especially for their low cost and the expertise with which the domestic industry already produces them.
