Kennedy Jr., who gave up his election campaign to join Trump and has the green light for health reforms in the future Republican government, made some comments that caused laughter, according to local media reports. At a rally in October at Madison Square Garden in New York, the then Republican candidate said of Kennedy Jr.: “I’m going to let him go crazy with health. I’m going to let him go crazy with food. I’m going to let him go crazy with medicine.”
Well, the member of the Kennedy family who defected from the Democrats pointed to Trump’s eating habits during the election campaign. “What he’s eating is really, like, bad,” the politician said in an interview on “The Joe Polish Show” podcast.
“Campaign food is always bad, but the food that’s on that plane is, like, just poison,” he added, mentioning some of the foods.
Some of the options are “inedible,” said the environmental lawyer who lacks a medical degree.
Trump’s promise to give Kennedy powers over health agencies has raised concerns among experts, who worry that Kennedy could meddle in key government agencies.
