“To the harmful effects of the genocidal blockade and the unjust inclusion in a list of states sponsoring terrorism by the North American empire, today are added the effects of hurricanes Oscar and Rafael and the two earthquakes suffered in the last few hours,” said the Movement.

MasCuba took advantage of its message to demand that the United States immediately end the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba if its statements that it is concerned about the lives of the common Cuban citizen are really sincere.

“On 32 occasions in the UN General Assembly, there was an overwhelming vote, a true global clamor for the United States to abandon the aggressive policy against the Island and end this illogical blockade, which only seeks to change the destiny and the path chosen by the Cuban people, because it does not coincide with the ideals of power of Washington,” it added.

Likewise, it considered that Cuba is an example that with another way of doing politics a better, supportive and equitable world can be built, and for this reason he called for contributing to overcoming this difficult moment that it is suffering.

“It is time for reason to prevail and for the self-determination of the peoples in this world to be respected,” concluded the Argentine organization.
