The Cuban organizers of the 4th edition of the Havana Skate Marathon and the third and last stop of the world circuit of the 2024 World Skate Marathon Tour (WSMT) scheduled for November 8-10, have postponed both competitions, with the second contest likely to be held outside the country.
A report from JIT, an online publication from the Sports Institute of Cuba (INDER), ascribes the postponement on the possibility of heavy rains and floods occurring in the next few days near the competition circuit.
The International Skating Union (ISU) has been duly briefed and now they are considering the option of changing the venue to the third and last stop of the WSMT, so as to prevent affecting the scheduled.
