The Ministry informed that the three countries’ representatives will discuss trilateral cooperation, including plans for a summit of their leaders expected to take place next year.

South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Chung Byung-won will meet Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Takehiro Funakoshi and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, on Monday, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The three diplomats will review the status of three-way cooperation between their Governments and discuss future directions for developing their cooperation.

South Korea hosted the previous summit in Seoul in May this year.
