The minister stated that the Third Plenum of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China recently set out a plan to improve the mechanisms of high-level openness.

Wang also highlighted the policies China has implemented to address the concerns of foreign companies.

“China welcomes Apple to seize opportunities and strengthen its presence in the Chinese market, maintaining stable cooperation with local partners to achieve shared development,” he said.

The minister also reiterated that Beijing will further optimize the business environment to provide quality services to foreign companies.

Wang stressed that economic and trade cooperation between China and the United States is mutually beneficial and responds to the fundamental interests of both nations, while acting as a factor of stability in bilateral relations.

On the other hand, he indicated that the expansion of concepts of national security does not favor normal trade between the two countries.
