The event is considered an important mechanism to exchange experiences, as part of the process of building socialism in both countries.
Li Shulei was received yesterday by the First Secretary of the PCC, Miguel Díaz-Canel, who stressed that this visit ‘ratifies the importance that both parties give to the exchange of high-level political delegations, thus marking a milestone in strengthening our historic relations’.
The Chinese guest will remain in Cuba until tomorrow, escorted by an ample entourage of CCP representatives, as well as experts from various Chinese study centers.
During his stay, Li will also meet with speaker of the National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament), Esteban Lazo, and will visit the Fidel Castro Ruz Center in the capital.
