A total of 523 athletes from 25 countries are expected to attend this contest, who will join 178 Cuban peers who will vye for medals in both competitions, scheduled from November 18th through 20th in Havana.
Some 300 foreign athletes attended the first contest, and only 40 registered for the second edition.
The qualifying series in the U-22 category, which Cuba hosts for the first time, is third among the five scheduled for the Asunción-2025 multi-sport games.
