The state-run KCNA news agency reported that youth from different places in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) have signed the written request following South Korea’s violation of national sovereignty.
Young workers, commanders and members of the Paektusan Young Heroes Brigade, as well as workers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, Taean Heavy Machinery Complex and Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill in Pyongyang applied to join or re-join the army.
Students, officers and graduate soldiers from Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Phyongbuk Higher Institute of Industry, Kye Ung Sang Higher Institute of Agriculture in Sariwon and other colleges in the country vowed to defend their land.
The massive response comes after the South Korean military leadership sent drones over Pyongyang last week.
