An Il-76 cargo plane belonging to the Ministry of Emergencies, transported the 31st batch of humanitarian aid for the inhabitants the Gaza Strip. Russian rescuers handed over the cargo to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, according to the statement transmitted this Wednesday by the Sputnik agency.

Since the beginning of the humanitarian mission, the planes of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies have delivered some 800 tons of food, medicines, clothing and other essential items.
