During the officially approved 10-kilometer (km) circuit of the Marabana race, Hernandez will seek his second record, since he already has the marathon record set at a distance of 42 km and 195 meters.

According to the National Commission for Marabana/Maracuba Races and Walks (CNCCMM), the former soccer player’s world record attempt will be one of the attractions of Marabana this year, a race considered the most important of its kind in the country.

Last Saturday, Hernandez set a new world record for the most touches of a football in an hour by making 13,985.

Holder of several records, Hernandez recently dribbled the football for three hours, seven minutes and 28 seconds from a sitting position with 1.5 kilograms of weight on his legs.
