The 22nd Iberoarte in Holguin, running from Friday through October 26th, has broken with the tradition of inviting foreign artists, resorting instead to local creators from Santiago.
Expo Holguin fairground, the event’s venue, will open daily from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm, local time, and will feature the sale of handicrafts of high demand among locals, in a gamut covering from cosmetics to toys.
At the closing gala, to be held at the Club Bariay, awards will be presented to Best Stand, Best Work, Textiles and the Iberoarte 2024 Grand Prize. This fair is sponsored by the Cuban Fund of Cultural Goods in Holguin.
The event is the second most important of its kind nationwide and will feature a varied program of activities that includes business rounds, interactive workshops and exhibitions.
