Moscow, Oct 8 (Prensa Latina) Ships from the Pacific Fleet and the Chinese Navy practiced anti-submarine missions during a joint patrol in the Asia-Pacific region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

According to the note published this Tuesday on the official Telegram page of the Ministry, the naval group carried out maneuvers and formation on the move to organize anti-submarine defense together with a Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopter.

The Ministry specified that the Russian ships include large anti-submarine units, while on the Chinese side there are destroyers and an embedded supply ship.

Ships of the Russian and Chinese navies have begun joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region after participating in the Beibu/Interaction 2024 naval exercise.
