“We invite you to come to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry and make your donation to help those who need it most. Every effort counts,” Foreign Minister Yvan Gil wrote on his Telegram channel.
This center was activated this Monday in the Salvador Allende Hall until 16:00 hours, local time. Those interested can donate imperishable food, clothing, medicine, and tools to remove debris, among other things.
Last week, Gil announced the establishment of a great world front to condemn and stop the Israeli government’s massacre against the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
He made the remark during a meeting with the Arab community living in Venezuela, authorities of the Foreign Ministry, ambassadors, and diplomatic representatives of Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Algeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Qatar, and Sudan.
The Venezuelan National Assembly (Parliament) also approved an agreement categorically rejecting the atrocities and crimes against humanity committed by Israel in Palestine and Lebanon. The text calls for “just compensation and accountability” over the grave human rights violations against the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon, “a general demand supported by peace-loving countries such as Venezuela.
