UNICEF Representative to Sudan Sheldon Yett recalled that the attack was carried out on Friday and described it as unacceptable.

Yett also noted that children are the ones who are suffering the most as the conflict in Sudan worsens.

UNICEF indicated that the children who were killed were between the ages of six and 17, and added that four other minors were injured in the airstrike.

The international organization also informed that 150 schools and hospitals have been attacked since the conflict began, while health centers, water supply points, and markets have been destroyed.
