The state-run ACNC news agency reported that Kim inquired into the details of the work being conducted by officers and soldiers of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).

The head of State expressed great satisfaction that the military builders are ensuring high quality in the construction according to the demands of modernization, standardization and normalization.

It is paramount to sort out the ideological hurdle in construction as well, as when people hold strong beliefs, nothing will stop them, the president underscored.

Kim Jong Un added that through the construction process, the military grew as explorers of the time and protagonists of creation, with a true sense of patriotism.

The leader was accompanied by Ri Yong Gil, chief of the General Staff of the KPA, Jong Kyong Thaek, head of the General Political Directorate of the KPA, and other army commanders and officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of the DPRK.
