The minister held a meeting on Wednesday with heads of diplomatic missions of Arab states accredited in Moscow at their request on Tuesday, which was met, the diplomat said in a meeting with the press.

Zakharova said during the exchange of views on the development of the situation in the Middle East, the focus was mainly on the ongoing unprecedented level of violence.

It was also stressed that all parties involved must reject provocative actions, act with restraint and adopt a responsible approach in accordance with the known decisions of the United Nations.
