The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine estimated that last night’s launch of more than 180 missiles is part of Tehran’s deterrent strategy and retaliation for Israeli crimes. The organization called on the Palestinian people to intensify the struggle for national liberation.
The Islamic Resistance Movement also praised the incursion of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), saying that the operation “is a strong message to the Zionist enemy and its fascist government, on the way to deter them and stop their terrorism, as well as their crimes, arrogance and violations of international law.”
Regarding this issue, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, estimated that the attack is the only way to stop Israel in the face of the world’s inability to stop Israel’s crimes in the occupied territories and Lebanon.
The Popular Resistance Committees spoke out on a similar vein, after pointing out that the missiles caused confusion and panic in Israel.
The IRGC announced that the missile strikes against military bases was a response to the assassinations of the top figure of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, and the leader of the Lebanese group Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, in Beirut a few days ago. Brigadier Abbas Nilforushan, deputy commander of the Al Quds force, one of the main units of the IRGC, also lost his life in that last attack. “If the Zionist regime responds, it will face a harsh retaliation,” the Corps warned in a statement.
However, both Netanyahu and members of his cabinet and the opposition threatened with a forceful action. “They made a big mistake, they will pay for it,” Netanyahu warned amid press reports of a possible bombing of Iranian oil facilities, which may trigger a war between the two countries.
