Hamas issued a statement announcing the death of the leader in Lebanon and member of the leadership abroad Fateh Sharif (Abu al-Amin), who fell along with his wife and children in a targeted airstrike against his home in the al-Buss refugee camp, in the south of the country.
The organization described Abu al-Amin as active, brave and courageous, always serving the people of Palestine, their legitimate struggle and just cause.
A report from the National News Agency noted that this is the first time that the camp, near the town of Sour, has been attacked since the beginning of the aggression against Lebanon last October.
In the early morning, an Israeli operation using drones killed three PFLP members, including two leaders, in a raid on a multi-level residential building in the Cola area, in the first attack outside the southern suburbs of Beirut, in the Lebanese capital.
The Front confirmed in a statement the deaths of Mohammed Abdel Aal, member of the Political Bureau and head of the Military Security Department; Imad Ouda, member of the General Central Committee and military commander in Lebanon, and fighter Abdul Rahman Abdul Aal.
