According to the military agency on its Telegram channel, most of those drones, 67, were intercepted in the Volgograd region, 18 in Rostov-on-Don, 17 in the Belgorod region, 17 in Voronezh, three in the Sea of Azov, and the remaining three in the Bryansk, Kursk and Krasnodar regions.
The Defense Ministry did not specify the targets of these attacks, which it described as “terrorist”, but noted that several fires caused by falling debris from downed drones broke out in the Voronezh region.
Over the past few months, Ukrainian drone attacks on oil refineries and fuel depots in Russia have intensified, primarily in the border provinces but also in more remote areas.
