The meeting will be open to all specialists and students of audiovisual media. Then, at 11:00 local time, the Havana Graphic Workshop will open its doors for Nancy Oropesa Barceló’s exhibition on Ukiyo-e and Mizuhiki.

Until September 29, the 23rd and 12th cinema and the House of the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema (Fincl) will star in the exhibition with four productions, among them, “Father of the Milky Way Railroad”, by filmmaker Izuru Narushima, which will open the event, said the guests at a press conference.

This film will be shown on its closing day on Sunday and is about the life of poet and novelist Kenji Miyazawa (1896-1933), considered one of Japan’s most widely read and beloved children’s authors, according to the festival’s catalog.
