The event was held in Caracas from September 10th to 11th, aiming at searching for unity and making Latin America and the world a place where the right to life and human dignity prevails. Delegates from dozens of countries reiterated their solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic, and denounced destabilizing actions, violence, armed conspiracies, foreign interference and the smear campaign through hegemonic media, digital platforms and social media.
After the Congress, Argentinians Atilio Boron, Paula Klachko, Rafael Klejzer, Paula Gimenez, Paola Gallo and Carlos Aznarez, among others, shared the main conclusions of the meeting with residents in the Padre Mujica neighborhood of Buenos Aires city.
Attendees analyzed the current scenario, stressing the need to fight off everything that threatens democracy, human rights and social justice. “This is the beginning of a path of anti-fascist hope, in defense of humanity.
In addition, they called to attend a Global Day of Struggle against fascism and in support of Venezuela on September 28th.
