Convened by the “Raúl Roa Garcia” Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) and the International Relations Commission of the National People’s Power Assembly (Parliament), the event has spirit, roots, character, and academic commitments.
As reported by the organizers, the keynote speeches and debates in the plenary sessions are held at the National Capitol, the seat of the Legislature, and deal with the parliamentarians’ evolutions, management, roles, strategies, and practices in universal affairs.
The need to strengthen and respect international law, the defense of the multilateral system, the challenges of global development and climate change, and the legislative performance to protect human rights are some of the issues for the participants to address.
Experienced legislators and diplomats from Angola, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Haiti, Mexico, Honduras, Venezuela, Russia, Serbia, and Namibia, among others, have responded to the call and will discuss these issues at the Seminar, which concludes on Thursday, September 19.
