For that purpose, they signed the day before, an agreement to provide a framework through which they can promote mutual understanding, knowledge and interest of the legal profession in both countries.
According to Granma newspaper, among the principles, it is established that the parties will provide information related to the organization and operation of the bar associations, in accordance with the laws of the country.
They will also exchange annual study trips of delegations to learn about experiences on issues of common interest; and will collaborate with each other to participate in workshops, virtual and face-to-face seminars.
The instrument, which has a duration of five years, establishes that it will not impose financial or legal obligations on the persons involved, and adds that the two organizations will contribute to organize intensive training of lawyers in legal practice skills, to improve professional competence.
