This process is an opportunity for municipal representatives to report to voters on their mandate.
It will also allow more than 14,000 People’s Power delegates to receive the population’s opinions through debates that will lead to solutions.
Cuban National People’s Power Assembly (ANPP) President Esteban Lazo informed that the upcoming exercise will be a profoundly revolutionary, democratic, and transcendental process.
During a recent meeting with the presidents of the municipal assemblies, Lazo pointed out that the constant exchange of opinions between delegates and voters must be the premise for accountability.
This will be the first process of the mandate that began in December 2022, where around 50 percent of delegates were renewed.
