“Cuba congratulates the Eswatini people and government on the 56th anniversary of its independence,” the MINREX wrote in a post on X.
“We ratify our willingness to continue expanding and diversifying bilateral and cooperative relations between our countries,” added the message, also published on its Facebook profile.
The Kingdom of Eswatini, previously known as Swaziland, is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. It is bordered by Mozambique to its northeast and South Africa to its north, west, south, and southeast.
Cuba and Eswatini established diplomatic relations in 1995. All through these years the African kingdom has maintained its opposition against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.
