Between January and August, Vietnam’s exports and imports reached 511 billion US dollars, 16.7 percent more, compared to the same period in 2023, the source pointed out.
Foreign sales totaled 265 billion greenbacks, while imports amounted to 246 billion.
OGE reported that the country had 30 items with an export turnover of over 1 billion dollars, and six surpassing the 10 billion.
The United States is Vietnam’s largest importer with a revenue of 77.9 billion dollars, while China is the country’s largest exporter with 92.3 billion dollars.
