Washington claims that the acquisition of this aircraft in the US violated the unilateral coercive measures it has imposed against Caracas.

According to various reports, the official Venezuelan government aircraft would have been directed to Florida, in US territory, according to statements by two US officials, whose identities have not been revealed.

So far, no official reaction has been received from the Venezuelan government, the local media highlights.

The seizure was carried out by several agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security. Also participating in this action were the Departments of Commerce, Justice, as well as the Office of Industry and Security of the US.

This is not an isolated incident, as it adds to a long list of coercive measures with which the United States seeks to suffocate Venezuela.
